I completed my doctorate at Anadolu University in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özer, with a thesis titled “An Econometric Analysis of the Relationships between Tourism and Selected Macroeconomic Variables in Turkey.” After serving at Sinop and Düzce Universities, I have been an Associate Professor at Ordu University, Ünye Faculty of Economics & Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics since 2022.
My research areas include econometrics, macroeconomics, tourism economics, agricultural economics and the relationships of economic growth. I frequently use methods such as ARDL bounds tests, time-varying causality, and symmetric/asymmetric causality analyses.
